Music for a Summer Evening

Performed by Azure an instrumental trio, performing music for flute, oboe, piano and the doubling instruments piccolo and cor anglais. A programme with something for everyone, classical works by Beethoven, Debussy and Grieg, favourites from film and television including the themes from Miss Marple and Pride and Prejudice; two relaxing and uplifting new works written especially for the group, and a few surprises, including a British folk song medley and a Jamaican rumba. Enjoy a glass of wine or juice in the interval, and take the opportunity for a pre- or post-concert stroll in the rural surroundings. 7.30pm.

They have performed at many venues across London and the UK. £7 (£5 concs) to include interval drink.
